The people sworn to protect and serve. [sic]

The reason this goes on and on is, politicians are in there for their own personal gain and little else?

'They' have little concept what it is like to "WORK" for a living.  We need a law to fix that and I might suggest the "Congressional Reform Act of 2010."

Congressional Work Days

What an incredible bunch of selfish, arrogant, angelic jerks!!!!

The US Congress

It's our Elected officials, I'm talking about of course. They won't raise the minimum wage but. "while they are on the subject," they will give themselves a pay raise, again and again and again.

The 500 Worst Employees, and you hired them.

Try these links to find out more about our political system where the worst kind of people seem to get elected and they will do anything to get re-elected no matter the cost to the nation. Politicians are like diapers, if they stay around to long they get full of shit.

SEPT-2008 Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae go under costing the US taxpayer (B) billions of dollars but no-one is held responsible and each political party blames the other. Business as usual. Who wins? Sure as hell isn't the average citizen.

For example; Tom Daschle the (Ex) US Senate (ex) majority leader and how he forced the FAA to buy defective scanners [1 in 3] from a company his wife, Linda Daschle has interests in. Tom's wife, is on the payroll as a lobbyist for such companies as Boeing, United Technologies, American Airlines, Northwest Airlines, Schering-Plough (a pharmaceutical giant) and the American Trucking Association to name a few. No conflict of interest there [sic]. Check any politician out, you don't have to take my word for it.

This is the most interesting thing I've read in a long time. The sad thing about it, you can see it coming.

I have always heard about this democracy countdown. It is interesting to see it in print. God help us, not that we deserve it.

How Long Do We Have?

About the time our original thirteen states adopted their new constitution in 1787, Alexander Tyler, a Scottish history professor at the University of Edinburgh, had this to say about the fall of the Athenian Republic some 2,000 years earlier:

"During those 200 years, those nations always progressed through the following sequence:

  1. from bondage to spiritual faith;
  2. from spiritual faith to great courage;
  3. from courage to liberty;
  4. from liberty to abundance;
  5. from abundance to complacency;
  6. from complacency to apathy;
  7. from apathy to dependence;
  8. from dependence back into bondage"

Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law, St. Paul, Minnesota, points out some interesting facts concerning the 2000 Presidential election:

Number of States won by: Democrats: 19 Republicans: 29

Square miles of land won by: Democrats: 580,000 Republicans: 2,427,000

Population of counties won by: Democrats: 127 million Republicans: 143 million

Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by: Democrats: 13.2 Republicans: 2.1

Professor Olson adds: "In aggregate, the map of the territory Republican won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of this great country. Democrat territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in government-owned tenements and living off various forms of government welfare..." Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the "complacency and apathy" phase of Professor Tyler's definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation's population already having reached the "governmental dependency" phase.

If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million criminal invaders called illegals and they vote, then we can say goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years.

If you are in favor of this, then by all means, delete this message. If you are not, then pass this along to help everyone realize just how much is at stake, knowing that apathy is the greatest danger to our freedom.
