Nobody knows. But one fact is beyond dispute: New Hampshire doesn’t have any of these laws. And New Hampshire has almost no gun crime.
New Hampshire has among the highest rates of gun ownership in the country– the second-highest number of guns per capita according to one survey.

Americans have the right and advantage of being armed ‑ unlike the citizens of other countries whose governments are afraid to trust their own people with arms.James Madison

CDC Study: Use of Firearms for Self-Defense is ‘Important Crime Deterrent’

The Institute of Medicine and the National Research Council released the results of their research through the CDC last month. Researchers compiled data from previous studies in order to guide future research on gun violence, noting that “almost all national survey estimates indicate that defensive gun uses by victims are at least as common as offensive uses by criminals, with estimates of annual uses ranging from about 500,000 to more than 3 million per year.” https://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/cdc-study-use-firearms-self-defense-important-crime-deterrent

Fact Sheet: Guns Save More Lives than they Take.

June 20, 2022 Gun Owners of America

According to Gun Owners of America (GOA), guns are used 2.5 million times a year in self-defense by aw-abiding citizens to defend themselves against criminals. This means that each year, firearms are used more than 80 times more often to protect the lives of honest citizens than to take lives. Of the 2.5 million times citizens use their guns to defend themselves every year, the overwhelming majority merely brandish their gun or fire a warning shot to scare off their attackers. Less than 8% of the time, a citizen will kill or wound his/her attacker.

"The laws that forbid the carrying of arms are laws of such a nature. They disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes.... Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man."

– Thomas Jefferson, Commonplace Book (quoting 18th century criminologist Cesare Beccaria), 1774–1776

***
"The Constitution of most of our states (and of the United States) assert that all power is inherent in the people; that they may exercise it by themselves; that it is their right and duty to be at all times armed."

Side Note – at this time there was no formal militia. All able–bodied men were expected to come to the defense of their homeland. They were then considered the militia.

***
"This may be considered as the true palladium of liberty.... The right of self defense is the first law of nature: in most governments it has been the study of rulers to confine this right within the narrowest limits possible. Wherever standing armies are kept up, and the right of the people to keep and bear arms is, under any color or pretext whatsoever, prohibited, liberty, if not already annihilated, is on the brink of destruction."

– St. George Tucker, Blackstone's Commentaries on the Laws of England, 1803

"What, Sir, is the use of a militia? It is to prevent the establishment of a standing army, the bane of liberty .... Whenever Governments mean to invade the rights and liberties of the people, they always attempt to destroy the militia, in order to raise an army upon their ruins."

"For it is a truth, which the experience of ages has attested, that the people are always most in danger when the means of injuring their rights are in the possession of those of whom they entertain the least suspicion."

– Alexander Hamilton, Federalist No. 25, December 21, 1787

***
"[I]f circumstances should at any time oblige the government to form an army of any magnitude that army can never be formidable to the liberties of the people while there is a large body of citizens, little, if at all, inferior to them in discipline and the use of arms, who stand ready to defend their own rights and those of their fellow–citizens. This appears to me the only substitute that can be devised for a standing army, and the best possible security against it, if it should exist."

– Alexander Hamilton, Federalist No. 28, January 10, 1788

***
"As civil rulers, not having their duty to the people before them, may attempt to tyrannize, and as the military forces which must be occasionally raised to defend our country, might pervert their power to the injury of their fellow citizens, the people are confirmed by the article in their right to keep and bear their private arms."

– Tench Coxe, Philadelphia Federal Gazette, June 18, 1789

***
"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen."

San Jose Passes Law Requiring Gun Owners To Purchase Insurance, Pay Fees For Anti-Gun Non-Profit

San Jose gun owners will soon be required to invest in liability insurance through their renter’s or homeowner’s insurance and to also pay annual fees on their Second Amendment rights, making San Jose “the first city, state, or jurisdiction in the nation” to adopt such a law. The mayor said San Jose taxpayers incur approximately $442 million in gun-related costs annually and the new fees would help cover damages or loss resulting from “accidental” use of the weapons. The law change does nothing to address the issue of criminals obtaining weapons illegally and places a tax on a Constitutional right. The city was served with its first lawsuit from the National Association for Gun Rights less than 24 hours after the vote.

Did the CIA actually suggest using school shooting as a means to remove the 2nd amendment?
I don't know where this came from, T-or-F & snopes didn't seem to have it. I personally have wondered about this as being a possibility before I ever saw this picture as I'm sure so have many others. A great place to insert a bogus picture but again, I don't know. I believe it is a distinct possibility. There are those that think sacrificing a few school children for their idea of a greater good is not a problem.

Personally, I think 90% of people are missing the point. Some azzhole getting a gun is a problem but an unarmed public will become subservient to the politicians and everyone will 'be under the gun'.. It happens every time in history a free people let others control their lives.

It is not the individual we need to be worried about. There is always going to be somebody, a Hitler, a Stalin, a Mao, a Pol Pot, an AOC, an Omar and the fools that follow them. It is the idea that big government is going to 'take care of us' and 'make everything right' that we have to worry about. Government isn't a thing, it is us. I believe right now; it is this standing army of individuals with weapons; that stands between us and total tyranny. Get rid of the arms and people like the Clinton's and Pelosi's will will be the one's in control.

There are places where firearms are not allowed and only the authorities are allowed to have any and it is true there are virtually no deaths from firearms but prisons are supposed to be for felons, not the common people.

Remember "Fast and Furious?" The obama/Holder deal where they allowed guns to be purchased and taken to Mexico? Allegedly something about "tracking" killlers? No one was tracked and it's real reason was to CAUSE murders along the borders to give them an excuse to ban the sale of arms in the US. Our democrat illegal president and his attorney general.

Trump withdraws from UN arms treaty as NRA crowd cheers in delight

Fri 26 Apr 2019 14.53 EDT Last modified on Wed 5 Jun 2019 04.13 EDT

Donald Trump has announced that the US will withdraw its support for a United Nations treaty regulating the multi billion-dollar global arms trade.

“My administration will never ratify the UN arms trade treaty,” Trump said. “We’re taking our signature back. The United Nations will soon receive a formal notice that America is rejecting this treaty.”

Trump added: “Under my administration, we will never surrender American sovereignty to anyone. We will never allow foreign bureaucrats to trample on your second amendment freedom. I’m officially announcing today that the United States will be revoking the effect of America’s signature from this badly misguided treaty.”

Anomalies and Curious Facts Surrounding the Shooting in Uvalde, Texas

June 17, 2022 NBC, Jim Fetzer, CNN, et al.

We are publishing the following information with concern that those who advocate gun control will attempt to vilify us as conspiracy nuts who are insensitive to the tragic loss of life that has been reported. Nothing could be further from the truth. We decided to publish it because it reveals evidence that suggests the possibility that the event was elaborately staged to create increased demand for gun control and that no lives were lost at all. If further investigation should reveal that this is true, then censoring it would be an even larger mistake, because it would assist the perpetrators to remain hidden. Admittedly, this information cannot be called proof. But what is proof? There is no such thing as absolute proof. There is only evidence. When evidence accumulates to the point where the beholder is convinced that the speculation is true, then it becomes proof for that person. If the same evidence still leaves doubt in the mind of other observers, then it is not yet proof for them. But none of us will never able to have an informed opinion either way if evidence on one side or the other is denied to us. It is our firm belief that truth will ultimately prevail when all evidence is available for examination. It is for that reason that we have decided to pass along to you the following information. In keeping with that perspective, critical responses are welcome and will be published in Reader Comments below this report.

Summary by JW Williams

Uvalde, Texas: On May 24, 2022, Salvador Ramos,18, reportedly shot his grandmother in the face, crashed her truck into a ditch, shot at funeral-home employees and then entered Robb Elementary School and shot 19 children and two teachers to death.

The police-action timeline changed numerous times over the past few weeks. It was first reported that they waited outside the school for backup for almost an hour because they were afraid of being shot. However, the police walked back a number of narratives and made these corrections: the school door shut when the gunman entered, Ramos was not confronted by a school officer, Ramos was not barricaded in a room by police, Ramos was not wearing body armor, and a responding officer was reported to have saved his own child.

There are many discrepancies and unanswered questions. Nevertheless, the city said it will not release bodycam videos or other records before its investigation is complete – which likely will take a long time.

Democrats still believe guns are the most dangerous thing in America

Last year, 47,000 people died from guns.

AnnieOakley, · · Mar 2, 2023 · NottheBee.com

Some of these are lawful shoots involving self-defense and police force.
Over half were suicides, and a whopping 20% were young black men. In fact, 70% of all gun violence is perpetrated by black individuals, largely in inner cities, despite making up 14% of the population.
So if you aren't a young black male or suicidal, your chances of being killed are pretty dang low compared to all other causes of death in this nation.
A record 110,000 Americans died of fentanyl poisoning last year, as fentanyl manufactured in Mexico is flooding into our country. This is nearly as many lives — lost in 2022 alone — as the 116,000 Americans killed in World War I. Guns are worse than cancer!
For perspective, there were an estimated 1.9 MILLION new cancer cases in America in 2022, with over 609,000 projected deaths.
It's like you could hand a dollar and a thousand dollars to 35% of Dems and they'd think the single dollar has more value.
