Muslim Apologists say: All commandments in the koran which call Muslims to violence are obsolete and not applicable today. [a lie for Kuffers but it is not a lie if it is to advance islam]
The first response to Muslim Apologists should be: Do you consider Mohammed to be the best authority to interpret the Koran? i.e. is the Hadith authoritative to the Muslim. Hence, they can't say, certain things are obsolete. see next
“All you believe, obey allah, and obey his messenger, and those in authority among you. If you fall into dispute about a matter, refer it back to allah and his messenger if you believe in allan and the last day...” Quran 4-59
The Sunnah is as important to a Muslim as the new testament is to a christian.

200 or more commandment found in the Hadith promote nothing short of Jihad by the sword including un-provoked invasions for the soul purpose of advancing the worship of allah.

The one goal of all Muslims is to advance the glory of allah as the supreme god. Invitation first and than by the sword if necessary.
It says in the quam 126 times, "convert or die." e.g. :
“Some ye slew and ye made captive some. And he caused you to inherit their land and their houses and their wealth and land ye have not trodden. . . “ Koran 33:26-27
"I shall terrorize the infidels, so wound their bodies and incapacitate them because they oppose Allah and his Apostle" (Koran 8:12)
"The infidels should not think that they can get away from us. Prepare against them whatever arms and weaponry you can muster so that you may terrorize them. They are your enemy and Allah’s enemy." Koran 8:59
"Your lord inspired the angels with the message: ‘I am with you. Give firmness to the Believers. I will terrorize the unbelievers. Therefore smite them on their necks and every joint and incapacitate them. Strike off their heads and cut off each of their fingers and toes." Koran 8:12
